Some init files are used to modify the default behavior of MSH. These files are simply normal MSH files, but only one of them is loaded automatically at MSH start: the first available file in this order: $HOME/.mshrc $MSH_HOME/.mshrc ./.mshrc Then after that, if the variable MSH_ENV is set, and points to a readable file, this one is also executed just after the previous one. At the end of the execution (either script or interactive), one of these two files $HOME/.mshout ./.mshout is executed just before MSH leaves.
